Description
RENOSAFE DU 46 is a fire-resistant, type HFDU
hydraulic fluid according to DIN 51502 and ISO 6743
free of mineral oil and water. RENOSAFE DU 46 is
based on synthetic esters and special additives.
RENOSAFE DU 46 is characterized by higher
flashpoint and combustion temperatures than mineral
oil products. RENOSAFE DU 46 also has a high
natural viscosity index and shearing stability. This
means the product shows little variation in viscosity
when used over a wide temperature range.
RENOSAFE DU 46 protects from wear and corrosion,
has good foaming characteristics and is demulsifying.
RENOSAFE DU 46 is non-toxic and compatible with
the materials and elastomers normally used in
industrial hydraulic systems.
Application
RENOSAFE DU 46 is suitable for all standard hydraulic
applications in the immediate vicinity of open flame or
glowing-hot metals, e.g. in the steel industry, in
extrusion presses, hot-rolling mills, cokeries, injection
moulding operations, etc. RENOSAFE DU 46 is a
universally applicable hydraulic fluid.
To ensure optimum performance, the product should
be used within a temperature range up to 70 °C,
whereby maximal of up to 90 °C can be tolerated
briefly.
